La partenza non è delle migliori, in quanto alla prima vera occasione gli ospiti passano con Livoi che dopo una prima respinta di Paolucci raccoglie e segna.
Passano pochi minuti ed il Villalta pareggia grazie a Guiducci, abile a sfruttare di testa una corta respinta del portiere.
Il Villalta passa in vantaggio sfruttando un calcio piazzato di Ravaioli, finalizzato da un colpo di testa di Sellitto.
Finisce col risultato di 2a1 la prima frazione di gioco.
Nella secondo frazione il Villalta ed il Gatteo hanno varie occasioni, i padroni di casa con Sellitto che servito ottimamente da Cianci calcia addosso al portiere e con Gozzoli che non riesce a finalizzare a pochi passi dalla porta.
Il terzo gol arriva al novantesimo con Ravaioli che su calcio piazzato inganna il portiere calciando sul primo palo da una trentina di metri.
Finisce così la partita e il cammino in coppa per entrambe le squadre, in quanto totalizzando 3 punti il Villalta e 1 punto il Real Gatteo vede come capolista del girone il Vallesavio con 4 punti.
